SAB Count Down - Best Year Day Ever DSP

Well sadly our favorite time of the Stampin year is coming to a close. It has been one of the best yet & I have truly enjoyed all the fabulous products in this years offering.
My most favorite item was the DSP though!

Don't these colors just scream SPRING! We made this banner at our last class!

My guest had the option of making 6 Easter tags with the banner pieces if they chose to. They also made the Berry Basket!

This little 3 x 3 card was basically a mini version of the sample shown in the catalog which brings me to my last project...

Another catalog case- I about died when I saw the card on page 17 so I had to make one for my mom for Mother's Day! Shh, don't tell her...lol!

Well friends this concludes our count down. I hope you were able to get all the free products that were on your wish list! Now it's time to Kiss Sale-a-Bration 2015 Good Bye!

SAB Count Down- Simply Wonderful

Welcome back for day 2 of our count down! Only a little over 24 hours left to get your Shopping On!
Today I was so torn because I really wanted to feature the Sheer Perfection Vellum but then I remembered how much I like the Simply Wonderful stamp set so I merged the two on my first card-

I had the Flower Flair dies out for this weeks ADT Blog Hop project & they paired so well with these SAB products I didn't need to add much else!

The next card I made for my Stampin Bestie, Lynda Lee! She truly is all kinds of wonderful!

Stop by tomorrow for the last round of projects to send SAB 2015 out with a bang!

SAB Count Down- Irresistibly Yours DSP

I can't believe we are only 2 days from wrapping up Sale-a-Bration 2015! I will be so sad to see these fabulous products go but very glad that I was able to stock up on all my favorite things! So I thought I would share my top 3 favorites as we countdown to the end of SAB starting with the Fabulous Irresistibly Yours DSP-

These two cards are basically the same I just switched out the colors a bit. I loved this card & it was one of the projects we made in my last class. The cross is from a retired set I think but it was just so perfect & beautiful I had to use it!

This card is also very similar but I switched it up by using my butterfly foam stamp
(if you missed how to make them see it HERE) .

I thought this one came out really lovely! I sponged it with Crisp Canatloupe, Daffodil Delight, & Coastal Cabana. :)

Alright I will be back tomorrow evening with my 2nd batch of projects!

Fancy Friday- Dude Edition!

Welcome to this months' Fancy Friday! If you came from the phenomenal Kimberly VanDiepen then an extra special Hello to you & if you are starting here make sure you keep on hopin' til you make the full round!

Our theme for this month is Masculine yet Fancy so here's my go at it-

My hubby had this cute DSP out so I figured what the heck lets go with that & I paired it with his favorite stamp set Adventure Awaits. Its my first time working with both of these & it was kind of fun to be pushed a little out of my comfort zone!

But I didn't stop there-

I have been hooked on these CAS (Clean & Simple) style cards & I was extra excited to create a card that says You Are Fresh! Hopefully you're old enough to remember when we used to call cool things "Fresh" otherwise I'm getting old. Lol! Even though it is a very straight forward card I hoped the embossing powders would add the touch of fancy.

Anyway since Hubby (a.k.a. Stampin Stud) was stamping along with me I asked him if I could share the card he created with you & he said YES, so here it is!

Let me just say this pic does this card no justice...he embossed the stamp on to Whisper White & sponged on Night of Navy & Blackberry Bliss. Then used the sun burst stencil that comes with the Hooray Its Your Day project kit & fussy cut all those sun rays out- CRAZY Right?! Well if you want read more about how he made this check it out HERE :)

Now hop on over to visit the Fabulous Alanna Wharf!

Stampin Up Artisan Blog Hop- Hello Life

~Dedicated to Grammy Bev~

We lost this beautiful lady last week & our hearts are broken. I was raised by my grandparents & losing her not even a year after losing my Grandma Mary has been especially challenging.
My grandfather is holding up ok & my Mom is doing a lot better than I thought she would, so that is good. I am very grateful for all the kind comments & wonderful support I have received from my Stampin Friends. xoxo

Welcome to this weeks ADT Blog Hop

I must admit that I really really really wish this wasn't our last post for the products we received in our March boxes. It was such an amazing mix of some many things & I could create for months before I played with it all...but next week we will be moving on. Waaaaah!
Anyway I decided to break out the fabulous Hello Life project kit & make a couple super simple cards...

I am pretty excited about all the bits & pieces that are included in this kit!
Especially love the black letter stickers!

Unfortunately the "Hello" card would not play nice so I couldn't get a decent close up of it. The silver foil strip kept showing up brown-grrrrr.

But I do have another card anyway so lets move on-

I made this one for my sweetheart. He is always so thoughtful & I wanted to let him know how much I appreciate him!

Ok lets go see what beauty Sarah has for us today!
